CHICAGO!!!
This is my home sweet home although we began, as a fur-trading stop long ago this city has never stopped growing and evolving. What was once nothing more than a stop for traders; my city emerged from the shores of Lake Michigan. This bubbling metropolis never looked back. Today, it is home to a 6 time world champion basketball team (atleast we were) as well as a champion soccer team and the infamous Alysandra. Okay, so I may not be infamous but I can guarantee I will leave my mark in history .(atleast in someones book.)
Greetings,my names is Alysandra and I believe my name describes me best; however if you ask my family and friends, they would say outspoken or blunt would be more appropriate. I was born and raised on the wonderful South Side of Chicago. Like Old Blue Eyes would say, "It's my kind of town." Without any bias, I can most certainly say Chicago is the best city on earth. ;-) To sum things up I LOVE my city!
MOVIES...I love good films. Especially the independent kind that most wouldn't think of watching. Next on my list is the City of God. My true passion is history, which is why I enjoy museums. I enjoy traveling and could use a few more stamps on my passport. I am a student of life and love,as well as learning about others culture, music, and ways of life. Anyway I'm a strong opinionated Aries who marches to my own drummer. (Those who know me know that just means I can't dance :-P What can I say I am the queen of my "rhythmless nation"..

Translated I can't live without them. They are the most loving, caring, and intelligent people I know. My mother is one of the most strong, compassionate, intelligent, and charismatic people I have ever known. Did I mention, she is a few hours away from her PhD and a total "fox". Yes, she is my number one fan and I am hers. My father came to Chicago via the breath taking island of Puerto Rico (la isla del encanta). I have three most excellent brothers and one hilariously funny sister. They are always there for me. Oh yeah, the most wonderful of matriarchs, my aunt, godmother, confidant, and best friend Aunt Alyce. She is my dearest friend, she listens to my whinning and is always there when I need her. These are the most important people in my life and I wanted to share them with you. In other words, to quote a famous tiger, I think THEY'RE GREAT!
